Taekwondo is a korean martial art and is the national sport of south korea. It combines combat techniques, self defense, sport, excercise and discipline. It is characterised by its fast, high and spinning kicks.

At studio 74 we are proud to be offering classes taught by the former great britian heavyweight champion of 10 years, Mr Richard Allen.
Richard Allen is an experienced coach with achievements at both national and international level. His coaching is based on a professional development plan and Richard continues to coach students of all ages and abilities. Richard founded the `Allen Taekwondo Academy´ in 2001 and currently has over 200 students.
Richard has coached top medallists such as Sarah Stevenson, Paul Green, Craig Brown and Davoud Etminani. His daughter is currently making a name for herself in the taekwondo world and is definitely one to watch!
